Golar Management’s Supply Chain team is located in Oslo, Norway. The team is divided into two areas of responsibility: fleet operations, and projects & conversions. We believe in building long-term relationships with our suppliers. We use benchmarking, KPIs, competitive bidding, service agreements, and various framework agreements based on international terms to assess prospective suppliers.
Being a 24/7 global operation we work with a wide range of companies. We encourage innovation and service efficiency.
As the company’s ethos is to be a low-cost LNG midstream services provider, our Supply Chain team will always seek cost-optimised solutions. In addition to overall value for money, our supplier selection criteria include safety and quality of supply and services, reliability and reputation, service and maintenance.
